My letter to the participants of The Russian Business Week 2011 in London School of Economics

Dear friends,

I am extremely sorry for not being able to attend your forum. Lamentable reason is of course tiny decline of business climate in Russia as attempts of the corrupt law enforcement officers to raid my businesses (National Reserve Bank, airline and potato farming) intensify. I am now possibly not accused yet only of Galileo type of heresies about the format of Earth. These circumstances do not allow me currently to leave Moscow - they may provide for me not being let in back. I wish you enlightning discussions and productive exchanges of opinion!

Regards to Mr. Lavrov - his is a tough job.

Sincerely yours,

Alexander Lebedev

Any business in Russia? About two weeks ago read Russia is going to pump billions into modernization of the army. No water in villages, no roads, no infrastructure at all in fact and the modern army. Pathetic.
